The Fear of Trust

Trust
Hurts
The lesson
She learned
Throughout
Her childhood
Of god’s
And monsters

To trust
Equals pain
To trust
Is fear
Vulnerability
Unsafe
Betrayal

The danger
Of trust
Builds walls
To all
Builds fear
To all
  Constant
Exhaustion
Assessing
